We're slooooowly working in that direction -- planted tomatoes last year, this year we may go whole hog and grow some herbs alongside, and we're doing more of our shopping at local farms and CSAs -- but it's going to be a while before we're ready for livestock and real crops. (I still have some trouble keeping the houseplants happy :)
I'll have to look into ozonators; right now I'm running the pool with as little chlorine as possible, not even enough to register on the test strips and the water still stays clear enough -- but a chemical-free system would be great. (I have some guilt about the pool -- it's by far the biggest chunk of our carbon footprint, but it's also the only exercise I get at all, especially during the winter. Not sure what to do about that.)
