Mac Geek Question
May. 20th, 2005 04:50 pmFor those of you who've upgraded to Tiger...
Did you do a clean install, or an upgrade-and-install?
I did upgrade-and-, and ever since have been spending most of my time watching the Spinning Pizza Of Death while the disk thrashes around. And I'm wondering whether it's worth the (considerable) hassle of going back and re-installing from scratch to see if that solves the problem... or if I should just give up and revert to 10.3.9. (Spotlight is just a painfully slow version of LaunchBar; Dashboard is just a glossy reinvention of Konfabulator that's *much* harder to write widgets for; Automator is just AppleScript with all the useful bits taken out. Why did I upgrade, again?)
